The convict, who resides at Karu village, pleaded guilty to the criminal breach of trust, cheating and criminal misappropriation.
The Judge, Umar Mohammed, who summarily tried and convicted Wabba, however, gave him an option to pay a fine of N8,000.
Mohammed also ordered the convict to pay N54,000 in damages to the complainant, Mr Ikenna Nnanna.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Vincent Osuji had told the court that Nnanna, who resides at Karu in Abuja, reported the matter at the karu police station, on July 26.
