Zlatan vs SARS: Artistes who have abused Nigerian policemen due to brutality

About three days ago, a video surfaced showing indigenous rapper, Zlatan Ibile, allegedly being harassed by the men of the Special Anti-Cultism Squad popularly known as SARS, on an express-way in Lagos.

Like many other people in the circumstance have said, Zlatan said he was stopped and accused wrongly.

Reacting minutes later, Zlatan shared a video on his Insta story cursing the officers, saying,: “E no go better for your mother.”

Many of his fans and other people have been reacting to the development, which they consider ugly and one too many.
This is based on the fact that police brutality and extra-judicial killings are getting rampant in the country.

Zlatan’s experience reminds phenomenal.com.ng of more than abuses that several Nigerian singers and other entertainers have hauled at the Nigerian policemen in recent times.
Although not all the foremen are culpable, the bad eggs often cause disgust for all.

The campaign #EndSARS came into existence months ago following repeated assaults, killings of some Nigerians by the Anti-Cultism Squad, which according to them are trying to make the country safe.

Widespread reactions for instance arose after the death of 36-year-old Kolade Johnson, who was killed by bullets fired by police officers while he was at a viewing centre watching a football match.

If it’s not a driver getting bloodied by some policeman cos of N100 naira, it will be the life of an innocent youth cut short by SARS!!!’
