Although many people may not remember that Monday, August 19, 2019 marked the fifth anniversary of the death of the woman who saved Nigeria from Ebola calamity, Dr Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, art will not forget. Poetry, indeed, remembers.
This seems to be what popular performance poet, Akeem Lasisi, tried to achieve when he produced this video – Even if the Cemetery is Closed – in honour of Adadevoh. Watching the video is a way of celebrating her.
