Update: Fashola, Lai Mohammed, Aregbesola, others take oaths (Batch 1-9)

President Muhammadu Buhari has started the swearing of ministers Designate at the Council chamber.

The ministers-designate are taking the oaths of allegiances in batches of five.

The first batch includes

1. Abia – Uchechukwu Samson Ogah
2. Adamawa – Mohammed Musa Bello
3. Akwa Ibom – God’swill Akpabio
4. Anambra – Dr Chris Ngige
5. Anambra – Sharon Ikeazu

The second batch of ministers are: Bauchi – Adamu Adamu,
Bauchi – Ambassador Mariam Kategu, Bayelsa – Timipre Sylvia, Benue – George Akume and Borno – Mustapha Baba Shehuri.

The third batch of ministers are: Cross River – Goddi Jeddi Agba, Delta – Festus Keyamo, Enugu – Ogbonnaya Onu, Edo – Osagie Ehanire, and Edo – Clement Agba

The fourth batch of five ministers are: Ekiti – Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Enugu – Geoffrey Onyeama, Gombe – Isa Ibrahim Pantami, Imo – Emeka Nwajiuba and Jigawa – Sulieman Adamu.

The fifth batch of ministers are: Kaduna – Zainab Ahmed, Kaduna – Mohammed Mahmud, Kano – Sabo Nanono, Kano – Major Bashir Magashi and Katsina – Hadi Sirika

The sixth batch of ministers are: Kebbi – Abubakar Malami, Kogi – Ramatu Tijani, Kwara – Lai Mohammed, Kwara – Gbemisola Saraki, and Lagos – Olorunmibe Mamora

The seventh batch of five ministers Designate that took oaths before Buhari In Aso Rock on Wednesday are: Lagos – Babatunde Fashola, Nasarawa – Mohammed Abdullahi, Niger – Zubairu Dada, Ogun – Olamilekun Adegbite, and Ondo – Tayo Alaosuadura

The eighth batch of five ministers are: Rauf Aregbesola ( Osun State), Sunday Dare (Oyo State), Paulen Talen (Plateau State), Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers State) and Maigarai Dingyadi (Sokoto State).

The ninth and final batch of ministers Designate that took oaths in Aso Rockare Taraba- Saleh Mamman, Yobe- Abubakar Aliyu and Zamfara- Sadiya Umar Farouk.
