Authorities of the University of Ibadan has explained the circumstances that led to the death of a 400-level student of the institution on Thursday.
The student, Victor Ajidagab, was said to have slumped Thursday evening with efforts to save his life proving abortive.
Speaking on the development, the UI Director of Communications, Mr. Olatunji Oladejo said, “We learnt he slumped around the Physiology department. Those around rushed him to Jaja clinic.
“We were told his case became so critical that the doctor on duty had to refer him to UCH for better medical attention.
“UI did everything to save his life and we used Varsity’s ambulance to ferry him to UCH. The doctors and nurses there also battled to save him but unfortunately, we lost him,” Oladejo said.”
