Lovers of the theatre have an opportunity to watch ‘King Baabu’, a play written by the Nobel laureate, professor Role Soyinka, till August 15.
The play directed by acclaimed professional, Tunde Awosanmi, is being staged at the Wole Soyinka Theatre, University of Ibadan.
It is featuring several top actors, including Ropo Ewenla, and other emerging talents.
‘King Baabu’ is a biting dramatisation of the rulership of the late oppressive military head of state, General Sanni Abacha.
It will be shown at 7pm every day, with N1000 fee for adults and N500 for students with ID cards.
