Male and female babies seem to be competing in numbers at the ongoing annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God tagged ‘And God Said’.
As of Thursday evening, the programme had welcomed 63 newborns, as announced by the General Overseer, Pastor EA Adeboye.
They were born in the church’s maternity within the Redemption Camp in Mowe, Ogun State.
According to the accomplished lover of babies, 32 of the newborns were boys while the 31.
Joking that boys were leading though anything could still happen before the convention ends on Sunday, Adeboye asked the multitude of women who gathered in the Old Auditorium to shout ‘Hallelujah’, after he had asked the boys to Shout ‘Praise the Lord’.
