Mob kill policeman in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has said that the mob that assaulted one of his mn in ijegun, lagos, on Saturday eventually killed him.
The mob had held the policeman when a pregnant tailor named Biliki was killed by what was said to be a stray bullet.
The police said the victim was hit during a crossfire between them and some kidnappers trying to escape.
Bala Elkana, the command’s PRO, was quoted as saying, “They were Anti-Kidnap, not SARS operatives. We don’t have the details of what happened for now. But the mob has killed one policeman and injured two. The area is still tense. But we are handling it.”
