Manchester City are in talks with Italian giant, Juventus, over a deal to sign Portugal right-back, Joao Cancelo, in exchange for Danilo Luiz da Silva.
Reports say there is no agreement yet but City manager, Pep Guardiola, wants the deal to be completed on time.
The English club is expected to pay a fee in addition before Cancelo’s deal can be sealed.
Cancelo joined Juventus from Valencia for £35m in 2018 after spending a season on loan at Inter Milan and he was part of the Portugal squad that won the Nations League earlier this summer.
City signed Danilo from Real Madrid for £26.5m in 2017 and he made 60 appearances in all competitions but only 22 league starts.
