The current harvest of babies in Nollywood is stirring up different emotions in various actors and film-makers.
While some are jumping up and singing songs of joy to celebrate their colleagues – like Bisi Dasilva – others choose to tease them.
Those who have just received the priceless gifts include Toyin Abrahams, Ijebu and Ronke Odusnya.
In the case of controversial actress, Liz Anjorin, for instance, she decides to ‘slam’ the Mama ikokos (just-born mothers) for giving birth to a baby each, instead of twins and more.
But Anjorin is doing so with a positive heart, jokingly calling them lazy folks, while promising that she will give birth to over a hundred at once when it is her turn.
She brags on IG: “Ole (lazy person) ni gbogbo yin joo. Na 101 i go born at once.”
Announcing the birth of her baby girl on Monday, odusanya sad, “My joy knows no limit. It’s boundless. Appreciation to God for the process and seeing me through it all. Birthing a new being is a whole new level and experience for me … my love, we welcome our first child. Oluwa, mo dupe.”
