Real Madrid midfielder, Alarcón Suárez, commonly known as Isco, is set to miss this weekend’s La Liga match after picking up a thigh injury.
“After the tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services, our player Isco has been diagnosed with a muscular injury in the right femoral biceps,” the club announced in a statement.
He will be out of the game against Villarreal and possibly Levante on September 14.

The club have not given the time frame for the midfielder’s return but said “his recovery will continue to be monitored”.
Reports say this kind of injury may linger for between two to three weeks.
It is another setback for Zinedine Zidane’s team which already has a long injury list including Eden Hazard, James Rodriguez, Brahim Díaz, Rodrygo and Marco Asensio.
