About two days after the Nigerian Prison Service changed its name the National Correction Centre, the Federal Government has changed its Twitter handle name from AsoRock to NigeriaGov.
The FG said in a tweet on Thursday that the change was to reflect the handle representing and acting on its behalf.
“NOTIFICATION: Twitter Handle Change | From @AsoRock to @NigeriaGov, to more accurately reflect the fact that this handle represents, and exists on behalf of, the Federal Government of Nigeria. Thank you for following,” the tweet said.
