The Nigeria Baby Fair, a two-day child-focused trade fair and family event started today at the Muri Okunola Park on Victoria Island, Lagos and will continue tomorrow, Sunday, August 18.
The event is bringing together many stakeholders in the baby and childcare industry and provides a platform for service providers, retailers and traders to make sales, network and interact with their consumers and clients. toy, games, children’s clothes, educational items, diapers, baby food and accessories, nanny services, counselling services, paediatric services and more will be at the fair.
The event is featuring masterclases on a wide range of issues- Family Finance, Child Rights Act, Nurturing and Optimsing your Child’s talent, Child Protection and Security and more.
Some side attractions adding to the fun are games and competitions like the Dadddy and Diapers competitions, Baby walking competition, Baby walking competition as well as music and dancing competitions for parents and grandparents.
The Project Director, Tolulope Olorundero, stated that the fair had been well received by everyone who had heard about it. It is a great delight for vendors and attendees. Our vendors will be offering their best and together everyone gets to win.
The Communications Director Jide Benson, added that ‘a key element of the fair is the Clothe-a-child charity which requests people to bring new and used baby items to the fair ground for onward donation to orphanages and internally displaced persons camps he urged people to empty their cupboards and closets of items that they no longer use but which can be of great use to other people.
The fair is an initiative of BH Communications LTD and supported by City FM, the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, Studio 24, TVC Communications, WFM, Jordan FM, Fabmum, New mums hub, wives and mothers, Temploy and Supernannies.
