Another cleric has become a victim of banditry in Nigeria.
He is said to be Rev father David Tanko, a Catholic priest at Kufai Amadu in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State.
According to the chairman of the council, Shiban Tikari, Tanko was hijacked by the hoodlums when on a trip, adding that, after killing him, his car was set ablaze, burning the corpse inside with it.
Tikari alleged that Tanko, who was on his way to a peace meeting, was killed by Tiv militias.
