The Lagos State Police have arrested two suspects, Daniel Abah and Edwin Edache, for stealing a Taxify driver’s car.
The incident occurred along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.
Following reports, they ended the trip halfway by pouring petrol on the face of the driver for refusing to park the Toyota Corolla car and hand over the key to them.
It was reported to the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Maroko Division and Daniel and Edwin were immediately arrested.
After confessing to steal the car and planning to sell it to raise money for a business, they were arraigned before the Igbosere Magistrates’ Court on three counts on robbery,
The suspects pleaded not guilty and were granted a bail of N200,000 each and the case was adjourned till July 19, 2019.
