Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku, has said that the agenda behind the controversial RUGA settlement is not care for cattle but colonisation.
He said if it were for cattle and grasses, ranching would be the answer.
He, however, said Taraba had rejected RUGA and that no one could establish it there.
In an interview with Channels Television, he said there was an anti-grazing law in the state.
According to him, he had plans for ranching but he was being delayed by the refusal of the Central Bank of Nigeria to give him the loan requested for the purpose.
