As Smartbricks Limited rolls out choice properties in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo State areas, it has unveiled Nollywood couple, Damola Olatunji and Bukola Awoyemi aka Arugba, as its ambassadors.
It is a perfect match because the real estate and a farming business the company is unfolding are top notch while Damola and Bukola are also doing greatly in Nollywood.
Besides, the products and projects that Smartbricks Ltd are offering are family-oriented just as the two filmmakers also represent a beautiful family.
The unveiling held at the company’s office in Isheri, Lagos, on Wednesday was characterised by glamour and the hope inspired by the housing and agricultural facilities unveiled by the company.
Phenomenal.com.ng learnt that the deal is worth millions of naira, just as the couple will have a home in the estate being developed by Smartbricks rLimited
This means that the occupants and the landlords will have the opportunity to share neighborhood with the stars.
Speaking on the deal, Both the Olatunjis and the management of Smartbricks expressed excitement at the deal, with the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Solomon Duke and his wife, Sunmisola Bolanle Duke, saying the parties represent vital family ideals.
Duke said, “Over time, before I met Damola and Bukola personally, I had been following them, seeing how they promote love. In the movie industry, for instance, they are a fine couple that stay together and that do things together. That is priceless, I have seen that and I think they are the right people for the job.
“The choice of Damola and Bukola as our ambassadors was informed by our vision, what we intend to do with the project. We intend to project family, love, investment and the future. Why I said family is because we look at people who consider investing for the future for their families; securing the future of that family through investing in real estates, properties – having that orientation about family and promoting them.”
Duke added that the ambassadors were expected to influence the company’s image by promotion and sales. They do this by encouraging families or intending couples to see the future and plan towards it together, while adding values to each other.
The CEO added that Smartbricks limited ’ main role is to add value to all individuals, not just to sell property. As a result, it has packages for people who are tenants currently in terms of deals towards paying rent. Noting that the company has facilities in strategic locations such as Isheri North Opic, Ibeju Lekki Epe and Shimawa, he said it also boasted a farming-for-all project.
“We have a place for cultivation, for farming. We encourage people to go into farming because we don’t just want you to be a landlord but with a reasonable and sustainable source of income.”
On his part, Olatunji, who has featured in many films and produced several, explained that he and Bukola conducted due diligence about Impact and found out that its vision is beneficial to the people while its products are genuine and well intentioned. An excited Olatunji said, “Before now I have had several offers from different estate companies but after my discussion with some of them I realised that two cannot work together except they agree and if your vision does not align with mine, we cannot go together. I have a vision to always make family first but when I discussed with Smartbricks limited I realised that they have products and projects that support family. To them they want people not just to be landlords but also have sustainable income.
On how he and Bukola intend to prosecute the task, Damola said, “If you have been conversant with our Instagram and social media handles, you will have noticed that we have our individual fans and we realise that as Damola and Bukola we have fans at the same time, which are even much bigger than our individual fans. It’s like we are bringing three strong fanbases on board.”
For Bukola, the ambassadorial work places core responsibility on her and her husband.
According to her, they have a responsibility to introduce to the public only what is authentic and beneficial. Besides, she said, they must continue to project themselves in ideal terms.
Bukola added, “Like he said, we have had so many offers but this is the one we choose because it has to do with family. I will try and do my best as Bukola, bring in people to know what we are doing. Damola can do it all alone but two are better than one. I have my fans, he has his; but I realise that when I’m on set or going anywhere people always ask, ‘Where is Baba Ibeji?’ They know that we are always together. They want to see us together all the time. So we realise if we could do this together then it will attract more people.”
