Rep. Tunji Olawuyi, the member of House of Representatives representing Kwara South Federal Constituency, has described late Dr Stella Oyedepo as a role model to humanity.

Olawuyi said this while speaking with journalists on the sidelines of Oyedepo funeral service on Friday in Ilorin, Kwara.

He described Oyedepo as an accomplished woman who made a significant impact in all ramifications of life.

“Talk of her academic, social, economic and spiritual impact. She is focused and very hardworking a woman.

“She is very accommodating and lived for people to gain from her. Mama is not selfish because she thinks of others and not herself.

“She deserved to be idolised. She is mother to all and not only her children. Every woman must learn from her to make our society a better place.

“Mama is a big loss to our generation. No one can replace her but we must start from where she stopped,” he said.

The late Oyedepo was the General Manager, National Theater and died in a car accident on April 22, aged 70.
