FG should abolish movement of cattle from North to South – Ganduje

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Dangoje, has asked the Federal Government to stop the movement of cattle from the northern part of the country to the south.
According to Dangoje, this is the only way the crisis being sparked by herdsmen’s adventures in the south can be checked.
Dangoje said on Friday that the only solution was the RUGA settlements, the type his government has, according to him, created.
He said during the inauguration of the project that settling the cattle in one place would boost productivity.
Dangoje said his government had trained 72 medical experts to take care of the cattle to be settled in the RUGA.
