The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor EA Adeboye, has reacted to a protest against him by some musicians and other people.
Rapper Eedris Abdulkareem and Dengo Po singer, Papa Fryo, had led a group to the hurch’s Redemption Camp about four days ago, demanding he speak on some national issues.
These include the continued captivity of Lea Sharibu and controversial RUGA cattle settlement.
According to him, the positions of the christian Association of Nigeria and Pentecostal are thse of the RCCG and his on national issues which cut across kidnapping, killing of Christians, herdsmen attacks and general insecurity in Nigeria.
He noted in a statement that being quiet doesn’t mean one is silent, as he has, according to him, worked behind the scenes to make known his views to relevant authorities.
Declaring that Nigerians shall see that God answers prayers, the RCCG General Overseer also called for peace in all regions.
