Flying Eagles have further dampened the spirits of many Nigerians by crashing out of the Under 20 World Cup.
This happened less than two days after their compatriot, Anthony Joshua, was humiliated by lowly rated Andy Ruiz.
The Flying Eagles were defeated by fellow Africans, Senegal, who won the encounter 2-1 at the Lodz Stadium in Poland, venue of the competition.
While striker Amadou Sagna got the first goal for Senegal in the 36th minute, Ibrahima Niane doubled the lead for the Senegalese late in first-half stoppage time.
The Eagles got their only goal five minutes into the second half.
