The Chief Executive Officer of Sappire Group, Wale Jana, has apologised for his bashing of Busola Dakolo, who accused pastor of COZA church, Biodun Fatoyinbo, of raping her.
Jana, a member of COZA, had, on Friday risen in defense of his pastor, threatening Busola and her musician husband, Time, that they should expect a fight.
Jana had said, “@timidakolo and @busoladakolo are not saints, she was a choir member and Timi was a choir leader in church when she got pregnant with her first baby, Timi denied that they weren’t having an affair and then she got pregnant the second time and that was when the church forced them to get married. This chorister was sleeping with her choir master and was a baby mama with two kids before they got married. These are morally bankrupt people and all that talk in the video will not hold water under cross examination.
“Another thing that bothers me is why all the people troubling the body of christ @daddyfreeze @timidakolo@busoladakolo @chudeity all attend a particular church.”
But following attacks from the public, some of which threatened his business, Jana has retreated and declared that he too was against rape.
He noted in online post, “There has been a lot of misunderstanding due to my earlier post and Its important to clarify that I DON’T SUPPORT RAPE! I am a father of two lovely daughters and a beautiful wife.
“I am surrounded by women; Sapphire Group is made up of close to 1000 women and we have done a lot for women empowerment and will continue to do so.
I apologise to everyone my previous post has offended as it is insensitive to victims of rape. Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has also come out to refute the allegations leveled against him, it is now a legal matter and the truth will come to light.
Please accept my apologies and I will be more sensitive in the future.”
