For folks who don’t care about football, this Saturday evening is one of the best to drive round and probably become landlords on the road.
As usual, traffic is thinning out in many parts of the country.
Reason: soccer fans are either home or are finding a convenient space to watch, first, the Falcons-Germany match starting at 4pm; and, second, the Super Eagles-Burundi match by 6.
Even in Lagos, where some Saturdays can be as nasty – traffic-wise – the roads are getting an opportunity to breathe.
For for the non-faithful of football, therefore, it is an evening to go to everywhere they have always been scared to go.
