There is anxiety in the home and school of a Rivers State-based undergraduate, Kpagane Desire, as she is nowhere to be found after dropping a suicide note on Facebook
The final year student of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology has thus been declared missing.
The anxiety is heightened by the fact that several Nigerian youths, undergraduates especially, have killed themselves in recent times.
Suicide rate has gone so high that the country records almost one per week.
Many stakeholders are, as a result, urging all concerned parties to ponder the matter.
Reports indicate that before Desire disappeared on Wednesday, June 26, she posted on Facebook that she was going to kill herself and her ‘flesh’ should be fed to a lecturer at the University – identified as Dr. Nadure.
A cousin of hers, Jewel Bight, raised the alarm of her disappearance, via an online notice.
