Simi dumps music label X3M

The management of X3M Music has said that celebrated act, Simi, is no more with the company.
Simi had been the company’s star artiste but her five-year contract with it has lapsed and is not being renewed.
While it is not yet known whether she will join another label, team up with her husband, Dekunle Gold, or establish her own label, he former bosses give an indication that the parting of ways is not in bad blood.
They noted in a statement, “We only sign artistes that we love and believe in. We know our taste in music is rather different; but we only sign talents who meet that taste. Fortunately, we have been able to find millions of music lovers here and abroad, who share similar tastes, as is evident in the success of all the artistes we have worked with, including Simi who is without any doubt one of the biggest music talents in the country today…’
