Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to the arrest of his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, by the Nigerian Police in Abuja.
The dancing Senator was detained on Monday May 6 and is due for arraignment arraigned in court today, Tuesday, May 7th.
Confirming the arrest, spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, Frank Mba, said, “Senator Adeleke is currently in police custody. He was taken into custody in connection with ongoing criminal investigations touching on his person.”
Reacting to this news, Davido, took to his Instagram page and said he had given up on democracy in Nigeria.
