Ugbe Dominic, a 200 level Student of the department of Guidance and Counselling, Faculty of Education, Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH), Calabar Campus, drowned during a pool party on Friday.
The pool party which was reportedly hosted by his department, took place at Jacaranda Hotel and suites, Calabar.
It was gathered that the Obudu-born student got in excessive water.
By the time he was rushed to the hospital and medical examinations carried out, he had passed on.
