Three days after journalist and activist, Kadaria Ahmed, criticised the Federal Government over the way they handle killings in the state, she has raised the alarm that a man is threatening her life.
This is on the basis of how the man described her as a walking corpse in a Twitter post.
During a protest by a group of concerned Zamfarans, Kadaria had accused Governor Abduaziz Yari and President Muhammdu Buhari of letting the people down when it matters most.
The man who identifies himself as Amb. Abdulrahman Yahaya told her on Twitter:
“Kadaria, you converted to Christianity in London. I was appalled when I heard her describing herself as a passionate citizen of Zamfara. By Islamic tenets, Kadaria is a walking corps, she’s supposed to have been killed as an apostate. She’s a condemned soul.”
Kadaria’s comment on this is:“I have reported this account for threatening my life even as I refused to dignify his allegation with a response. No one should have the right to call for anyone’s death. If anything happens to me, this is the man to hold.”
