There are indications that Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, will move to Accord Party to secure for the November 2019 governorship election in the state.
Bello’s hope of securing the ticket in the APC for reelection is under threat as a result of criticism by stakeholders that he has performed below average in office.
According to a report in ‘ThisDay’, however, he is set to move to Accord Party as a safety net.
The governor is said to have been dragged to the APC National Working Committee by individuals, groups and even members of his party, through petitions, all complaining that his administration has performed poorly.
