This year, the Pink Moon will appear on Friday 19 April.
The full moon phase will begin at 12:12 (British Summer Time), but should last through the night.
For your best chance of seeing it, try to stay in an area with little light pollution, so the moon will look particularly bright in the night sky
It occurs when the moon is located on the opposite side of the Earth as the sun, meaning its face is fully illuminated.
