Liverpool’s forward Mohamed Salah hit the red carpet for the Time 100 Gala in tuxedo after he was named one the world’s most influential people by the US magazine.
The Egyptian stood alongside with Hollywood stars and political heavyweights, some of the biggest names in music, film and television at the red-carpet event after being chosen as one of six cover stars for the magazine’s annual issue in New York.
Sharing his cover image on Instagram when the announcement was made, saying he was ‘honoured’ to have made the 2019 list as one of its ‘titans’ he said:” Always ready to help make the world a better place”
Salah was joined with likes of Taylor Swift, Jimmy Fallon, Brie Larson, Naomi Campbell and Dwayne Johnson.
Salah also shared a snap with actress and Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke at the event
The 26-year-old who received the Premier League Golden Boot during 2017-18 EPL season has so far scored 19 goals for Jurgen Klopp’s this season.
He was named this year’s Confederation of African Football’s Player of the Year, having also picked up the trophy in 2018, and he was named both the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the Football Writers’ Association’s Footballer of the Year last year.
