Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has said that Manchester United have the ability to beat Barcelona in their second tie at Camp Nou and advance into the Champions League semi-finals.
Luke Shaw’s own goal gave Barcelona a win at Old Trafford but Pogba believes United will defeat Lionel Messi’s side after their miraculous 3-1 victory over PSG.
Speaking after the game, he argued the Spanish side weren’t dangerous and were lucky to have won because they didn’t really have a lot of chances.
Pogba said: “The chances that we get, we have to put them in.
“They didn’t really have a lot of chances, maybe just one when David [De Gea] made a great safe, but after that they weren’t dangerous.
“We believe we can beat them. We are Manchester United, even if they are Barcelona – we are Manchester United, and we play in the Champions League just like they do.
“We can go through, of course.”
