Romantic, thriller and survivalist movie, ‘The Edge’, is giving many people delight this Easter period. The movie produced by actor, model and Diasporan entrepreneur, Joseph Jaiyeoba, was released on Apata TV on YouTube two days ago.
The movie directed by Bayo Alawiye features Jaiyeoba as a young Nigerian (Segun) on a green-pasture mission to the United States of America. The catalyst he needs to jet out is the unease his country feeds him with at home, and what will eventually work for him is the zeal with which he pursues his adventures in the Trump’s country.
But he has a major problem: he has no papers yet, and he does not want to return to the hell he left behind in Nigeria. A major break comes after much fumbling across America when runs into a cousin who has lived there for years. He (Bolu) has a wife and both are already bonafide residents.
Well, the cousin is so good to Segun that he lends him his wife for ease of processing his (Segun’s) papers. The deal works but trouble erupts when the woman falls in love with the arrangee husband.
‘The Edge’ is an intriguing, interesting, captivating and entertaining movie starring Yemi Solade, Rachel Oniga, Joseph Jaiyeoba, Bayo Alawiye and a host of others.
