The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, on Saturday, arrested one Abba Ali Abbari, a party agent, allegedly hired to distribute money to people from Auno, Dalwa, Jakana in Konduga LGA Borno State.
He was said to have been arrested at the NYSC Internally Displaced Persons Camp in the area.According to the Maiduguri zone of the commission, a sum of N1, 290,000.00 was found on him.
It added that the accused had the mandate to give f N50, 000 to each party agent.
Also, the commission arrested one Alhaji Garba Isah with N300,000 said to be meant to be given to voters..
