President Donald Trump has described as outrageous the decision of the prosecutor to drop charges of lying to the police against Empire actor, Jussie Smollet.
He says the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice will review the case;
after all charges against him were shockingly dropped by a prosecutor.
Smollett was facing up to 48 years in prison on 16 felony counts of lying to police in the alleged racial and homophobic attack;
The President said in a tweet, “FBI & DOJ to review the outrageous Jussie Smollett case in Chicago. It is an embarrassment to our nation!”
