An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission also experienced violence today as suspected APC thugs attacked him in Benue State.
This happened after the commission had arrested a politician carrying around bundles of money for vote buying.
The commission announced the attack thus: ”Officer of the EFCC, in Makurdi zonal office, wounded by thugs of the APC gubernatorial candidate. Currently undergoing treatment at the Police Cottage Hospital, Makurdi, Benue State’.”
