Financial expert, Bismarck Rewane, has said that the aggressiveness that the Lagos State Government and its tax collection agents unleash on residents is counter-productive.
According to him, it is chasing many Lagosians to neighbouring Ogun State where there is less aggression.
He said this during a programme on Channels Television, when advising the incoming Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on steps to take to make life better in the state.
Rewane urged Sanwo-Olu to make potable water available for the people.
He also urged him to evolve a waste management system that would keep the city and other towns clean while urging him to standardise the education system.
Decrying the performances of pupils in public examinations, Rewane said the miserable index in Lagos was higher than the national average.
