The popular Saraki political dynasty in Kwara State has finally collapsed as the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has won the governorship election held there on Saturday.
The jinx breaker polled 331,546 votes while his opponent, Peoples Democratic Party’s Mr. Abdulrazaq Atunwa, secured 114,754.
Abdulrazaq led Atunwa with a margin of 216,792 votes, with the candidate winning in all local government areas.
Notably, the APC beat the PDP in all the local government areas.
