Ebonyi State has witnessed early morning violence in today’s election as some suspected political thugs in attacked staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission at the Okposi Umuoghara Community Secondary School in Ezza North Local Government Area.
The thugs, said to be about 15, were armed with dangerous weapons.
They also took away some sensitive materials and set ablaze the school building, with the state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Loveth Odah, confirming the development.
He said efforts were on
to arrest the thugs.
