Dad fumes after Nigerian university forced her daughter to cut her braid

A battle is real between a Nigerian parent, Olayinka Fagbuaro, and authorities of a private university his daughter attends.
According to him, they forced the lady to loosen her hair as they considered it too flashy for their academic environment.
Although the father did not mention the name of the school, he fumes on Facebook, “ When some women get intoxicated they lose control totally, my girls were told to loose a braided hair cos they are looking too much, just ordinary “shuku” hair…. In a university… Who dictates hair style on a campus ….this country and it’s entirety is becoming ridiculous and a complete joke.”
Some stringent rules operated by many of the country’s private universities have, at different times, brought conflicts between them and parents.
