The friendship that returned between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and his vice, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, towards the February 23 election, is turning stronger by the day.
It was, for instance, gathered that Atiku not only visited Obasanjo today in Abeokuta, he also observed his prayer in the mosque within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in the Ogun State capital.
According to ‘The Nation’, the two later had lunch together after which they met behind closed doors.
After years of bitterness against Atiku, Obasanjo embraced him as well as his presidential bid on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
