The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has revealed the secret behind the creation of the monthly Holy Ghost Service.
The revered man of God made the revelation yesterday (Friday) during the March service, which coincided with his 77th birthday.
According to him, there was a time he asked God for a special birthday gift.
God then asked him to request anything he liked.
According to him, he asked for a special gathering where people’s prayers would be answered and where miracles would happen consistently.
“I told God that was all I desired for my birthday,” he said.
This is what gave back to the monthly Holy Ghost Service, Baba Adeboye added.
He also told the congregation the essence of the 49-day fasting that had just ending.
According to him, 7 x 7 is 49, and that is his age now: 77.
Besides, the great pastor said, seven represented perfection, meaning that 77 represents double perfection.
