Will Jimi Agbaje join APC?

Guesswork has started after the People Democratic Party governorship candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, announced his departure from the party this morning.
He said in a tweet that he dumped the PDP over an unresolved disagreement between him and the leadership of the party in the state.
The move is not too distant from that of a former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, who also quit the party last week, although he said he was retiring.
Days after, however, Daniel said he had to join the All Progressives Congress because his supporters wanted him to do so.
For Agbaje, the next move is not yet known but observers said he was likely to join the APC since he did not say he was retiring.
“Going to any other party besides the APC would mean going to struggle in vain again,” Adebayo Odedele, a critic said.
