As anxiety rages at the scene of the collapse of building housing a school on Lagos island, Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has visited the site and gave the hope that rescue operatives are on top of the game.
According to him, some 25 people have been moved to hospitals.
He, however, said the building and any other one that fails integrity test would be demolished.
He said,“We have been receiving pleas from house owners from the area. Notwithstanding, we will go ahead with the integrity test and any building that fails the integrity test will be demolished.
“But the most important thing now is to save more lives before we talk about dealing with the culprit.”
Many parents were still seen anxiously waiting to see their parents, with some women seen shedding tears.
