Vuvuzelas loud in Surulere to attract voters

Many soccer lovers who reside in the Surulere area Lagos would remember the 2010 Worl Cup held in South Africa where vuvuzelas blared like a thousand thunders.

Because of voters apathy, it was reported that some canvassers went round Surulere, blowing whistles and vuvuzelas beckoning on the electorate to come out.

The apathy witnessed in Surulere extended to other places such as Ikoyi, Victoria Island and Magoodo.

Commenting on the situation in Ikoyi, Senator Remi Tinubu nted that it could be due to the fact that some people believe the presidential election could be more impacting than the governorship and House of Assembly’s.
