The drama that has characterised the ongoing elections in Bayelsa State seems to have taken a new dimension.
The state oil-rich state has not been too lucky in the sense that it has witnessed some violence that has led to the loss of lives.
The Governor, Seriake Dickson, has also expressed serious concern over what he sees as partial conduct on the part of the military.
While these are still going on, however, the Independent National Electoral Commission has said 63 card readers are missing in the state, as confirmed by the Head of Department, INEC Voter Education and Publicity Wilfred Ifogah, who said the card readers were missing in Brass, Sagbama, Southern-Ijaw, Nembe and Yenagoa councils.
Ifogah added that one smart card reader disappeared in Brass ward 6, unit 19; 24 in Nembe, ward 1, 4, 12 and 13 and 24 in Southern-Ijaw, ward 1, 2, 3, 12, 15.
