Upscale rapper, Eldee De Don, evoked another copyright scare on Monday when he accused Olu Maintain of performing a song (Big Boy) that he invited him (Olu Maintain) to collaborate with him on some year ago. He alleges in a tweet that Olu Maintain has been preforming the song at events.
According to Eldee, it amounts to infringement on his intellectual copyright
Although Olu Maintain has replied him, indicating that he never meant to infringe on his right,
Eldee’s lamentation has again called attention to the experience of Nigerian musicians who are engaged in copyright wars.
