Three killed in Sapele as thugs open fire on voters


Three voters are said to have fallen victim of violence perpetuated by hoodlums in the Amukpe area of Sapele State on Sunday.

.’The Nation’ reports that  some armed persons emerged from the blues and opened fire on the voters who were on the queue, killing two persons instantly.

Three persons were reportedly rushed to the hospital, one of which reportedly died later.

When reached for confirmation, the Delta state Commissioner of Police, Adeleke Adeyinka, could not confirm the incident as he said he wanted to get across to the people on the ground in Amukpe before he could say anything.
