Bayern Munich centre-back Jerome Boateng has been ruled out of Tuesday’s match against Liverpool in the Champions League last 16 as a result of “stomach flu”.
Liverpool host Bayern at Anfield on Tuesday, February 18,2019, in one of the biggest games to watch out for this week.
Bayern head coach Niko Kovac revealed on Monday, “Jerome Boateng misses out with stomach flu, but Franck Ribery will travel later today after becoming a father late last night.”
