Plans are underway for the funeral of African philosopher and scholar, Prof. Sophie Oluwole, who died on December 23, 2018.
She was 83.
Family sources say the funeral will hold between April 23 and 25 in her Ibafo, Ogun State home.
Phenomenal.com learnt that the burial is taking some time because the family had to first bury Oluwole’s sister who died about the same time as the scholar.
The elder sister was buried about three weeks ago in her Benin City, Edo State home.
It was further gathered that the decision to inter Oluwole in Ibafo is in line with her wish as there was consideration to take her body to her Ondo State hometown.
